One World Children’s Centre will ensure that all safety checks are completed and findings documented to ensure a safe environment for children and adults is maintained.

Safety Checks
- A daily safety scan is carried out by the staff on opening the centre
- Each daily/weekly check is documented in the safety/cleaning booklet
- Each Educator – Qualified is to ensure a staff member of their room is delegated to undertake these checks and document their finding accordingly
- The safety/cleaning booklet is located in each bathroom
- Any finding that require attention are to be written in the services assistants maintenance folder, located in the laundry
- If any findings pose a health and safety risk they are to be reported to the Heath and Safety Officer - Tammy
- Staff development and training will be arranged as individual or group training needs are identified
